Practice Info
I'm Lauren Dibble, LMFT, founder of Brilla Counseling Services — a neurodivergent-affirming ADHD specialty practice based at 924 57th Street in East Sacramento, with telehealth throughout California.
Brilla exists because ADHD deserves its own specialty. ADHD isn't just a productivity problem to be managed. It's a brain difference that shapes how you relate to yourself — the shame, the self-trust, the identity questions that come with a lifetime of being told you're "too much" or "not enough." That's the work we do.
Every clinician at Brilla specializes exclusively in ADHD and neurodivergence. Each has completed 30–60 hours of ADHD-specific training beyond licensure requirements. ADHD isn't a side specialty here — it's the entire practice.
Who we work with:
- Adults with ADHD
- Women with ADHD, including those diagnosed later in life
- Couples where ADHD shapes the relationship
- Parents of children and teens with ADHD
- Children and teens through family-based therapy — we treat the whole family system, not just the child
- Partners of adults with ADHD
- Women seeking ADHD testing and assessment
Our philosophy: neurodivergent-affirming. We treat the life impact of ADHD and its effect on your relationship with yourself — not just your calendar. Every session starts from the assumption that your brain isn't broken. It works differently, and it deserves care that honors that.
I personally conduct every initial consultation and supervise our pre-licensed clinicians — Joseph Boyle, LPCC; Andrea Valle, ASW; and Jocelyn Medrano, AMFT. If Brilla isn't the right fit, I'm happy to help point you toward a colleague who is.
For Sacramento clinicians and clients: We see clients in person at our East Sacramento office (J Street at 57th) and throughout the region via telehealth — Midtown, Land Park, Arden, Carmichael, Fair Oaks, Folsom, Elk Grove, Rocklin, Roseville, and Davis. Brilla is listed in the ADDA professional directory and maintains active referral relationships across the Sacramento region.
Community programming: We sponsor a free Women with ADHD Peer Support Group (first and third Mondays) and a free Parenting ADHD Peer Support Group — both open to the community regardless of whether someone is a Brilla client.
