Eva has her private practice in El Dorado Hills. She works with adult individuals and couples, specializing in relationship issues, trauma recovery, depression and anxiety.
A twenty-one year veteran of law enforcement, I developed a passion for working with trauma survivors. Witnessing how disabling depression, anxiety and posttraumatic stress can be not only to the individual, but also their loved ones, motivated me to work with emergency responders and their families. I am a clinician and peer with the West Coast Posttrauma Retreat and SOS in Marin County. I integrate EMDR (evidence-based trauma intervention) and Emotionally Focused Couples therapy into my work, along with other contemporary therapeutic modalities.
I enjoy traveling with my husband and taking our grandchildren on “explorers” of museums, theater and road trips. I vow to remain curious, be a life long learner, and continue the art of “growing up”. Wisdom comes with knowing that you don’t know, but continuing the search for knowledge.
