Darlene is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist working in the mental health field as a private practitioner, supervisor, and consultant. She has a private practice in Roseville working with individuals, couples, adolescents, and families. She also runs a nonprofit, HOPE; Healthy Outcomes for Personal Enrichment Counseling Center, offering low cost therapy and supervising interns and trainees. She has ongoing consultation groups for post graduate interns who want to improve their skills, consult with other interns and seasoned therapists, and avoid burnout. Kami Storck is an Licensed MFT and offers affordable therapy to individuals, couples and families on a sliding fee scale basis. She enjoys providing therapy and it is her passion to assist in guiding an individual, couple or child to meeting their needs and goals. She often integrates cognitive/behavioral techniques to assist in helping a person make the connections between their thoughts and feelings. Kami is married to a firefighter and is actively involved in the public safety community providing education and support. Kathy is a pre-licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Intern and the Counseling Manager for People Reaching Out, a non-profit organization whose mission is to create a safe and drug-free environment for youth. She co-facilitates a workshop series for parents and their teens in Sacramento and Yolo County, and recruits and manages MFT interns and trainees to do individual, family, and group therapy. In addition, Kathy teaches psychoeducational classes on various parenting topics for community groups, corporations, and community college programs. Jeannette Phelan, MFT
Jeannette Phelan is a licensed Marriage and Family therapist in private practice in Sacramento, California. Her practice includes working with a broad spectrum of children, adolescent and adult individuals, as well as couples, and family psychotherapy. Areas of specialization include couples counseling, conflict resolution, overcoming the debilitating effects of chronic depression, grief, anxiety, and abuse trauma. She has over 25 years of experience as a clinician and is a graduate of California State University, Sacramento. In addition to her clinical expertise, Jeannette is well-known for providing clinical supervision to graduate student trainees and registered interns. As a former Senior Mental Health Counselor, Clinical Director, and current Clinical Consultant and Supervisor, Jeannette has created student training programs that enable students and interns to develop their individual strengths while evaluating their growing edges as they mature in clinical ability and experience. In addition to serving as an Expert Witness in Yolo, Placer, and Sacramento Counties in areas of Sexual Abuse and Sex Offender Treatment, Jeannette is a Faculty Mentor with The Academy of Guided Imagery and Beyond Ordinary Nursing Programs. Michael McDonald, MFT Intern
Mike is an MFT Intern at HOPE Counseling Center where he offers affordable therapy to individuals, couples and families on a sliding fee scale basis. In addition Mike works several days a week at Dixon Family Services working with children, adolescent and adults in individual and groups sessions. In his work at Dixon Family Services he serves as a member of the Solano County Adolescent Intervention Modality (AIM) coalition which works on developing and implementing early intervention and prevention modalities to reduce alcohol and drug use by adolescents. Mike’s aim in working with his clients is to assist them with relational issues, communication skills, feelings of depression and anxiety and self-empowerment. Mike works from a strength based, cognitive/behavioral, experiential and psycho-educational perspective with his clients. Prior to becoming a Therapist Intern Mike worked a number of years in the financial services industry.

Susan Landes, PsyD, MFT
Dr. Susan Landes has been working in the fields of mental health and addiction since 1987. She received her master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and Specialization in AOD from J.F. Kennedy University in 1989. Dr. Landes earned her doctorate from the Wright Institute in 2003. The primary focus of Susan’s clinical work has been issues related to substance abuse including, individual therapy, trauma work, early intervention with adolescents, family therapy, family therapy with adult children, and couples work. Dr. Landes’ early training was in Family Therapy and Control Mastery Theory. Later in her career she become interested in Relational Theory. While a student at the Wright, Susan became excited about Dialectical Behavior Therapy and its application to co-occuring disorders. Dr. Landes has been using DBT in her clinical practice in Oakland for the past five years and has recently started a clinic for DBT in her new psychotherapy practice in Auburn. Gail has been a licensed MFT since 1989. Prior to that she was an RN for 12 years and spent 5 years as an Air Force nurse. She has worked in substance abuse treatment, in- home programs, and with children/adults at River Oak Center for Children for 16 1/2 years. She started in private practice in 2003 in midtown, and is currently practicing at 2180 Harvard St, near Arden Way and Interstate 80 and Hwy 160, where she is in a group practice with 2 psychiatrists. She prefers working with all adults, especially those dealing with issues related to life transitions, self empowerment, and women's issues. She also works with children 12 yrs or older, and assists parents in effectively parenting adolescents. She has been a CAMFT Certified Clinical supervisor since 2003. Andrea Orr, MFT, is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in private practice in Roseville where she enjoys working with children, teens, adults, couples and families. Her clinical areas of emphasis include: Grief, Trauma and Loss; Anxiety and Depression; and Family and Relationship Issues. Andrea is also a Level II trained EMDR practitioner and Disaster Mental Health volunteer for the Sac Sierra Chapter of the American Red Cross. Dezaree is a Registered Marriage and Family Therapist Intern, IMF #57508 at HOPE Counseling Center.She has a Masters of Science degree in Marriage, Family, and Child Counseling from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from UC Davis. Dezaree is pursuing a Marriage and Family Counseling license and currently offering low cost therapy to individuals, families, children, and couples and accepting Victim Witness Compensation insurance. She also offers Christian low cost counseling and is currently finishing her schooling at the River City School of Ministry and is a part of the ministry team at Family Christian Center, Orangevale.
