Darlene Davis, MFT
Darlene is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist working in the mental health field as a supervisor, consultant, and trainer. She has a private practice in Roseville where she invites individuals, couples, children, and families to live the life they desire. She has ongoing consultation groups for trainees and interns who want to improve their skills, consult with other interns, and avoid burnout. Jay retired from the public schools a couple years ago after many years of working with high school kids. He began his MFT private practice in Sacramento in 1982 where he practices Ericksonian clinical hypnosis as an adjunct to cognitive therapy. Kami Storck is an MFT Intern at The Place Within in Davis where she offers affordable therapy to individuals, couples and families on a sliding fee scale basis.  She enjoys providing therapy and it is her passion to assist in guiding an individual, couple or child to meeting their needs and goals. She often integrates cognitive/behavioral techniques to assist in helping a person make the connections between their thoughts and feelings. Kami is married to a firefighter and is actively involved in the public safety community providing education and support. Lisa Mitchell runs The Art Therapy Studio in Fair Oaks Village. She is both licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a Registered Art Therapist. Her passion for creativity and relationships lends itself perfectly to her work with teens and adults. She encourages clients to discover and understand parts of themselves through art and creative expression. Anita has a private practice in Roseville. She helps children who are fearful and hurting to feel good about themselves, and helps parents to feel that their challenges are listened to and that change is possible. She has many years of experience working with children and families in private practice, in school counseling, and as an elementary schol teacher. Krysta Dancy-Cabeal is an MFT Intern at The Place Within in Roseville where she offers affordable family therapy on a sliding fee scale.  She works with all populations but particularly enjoys couples and adolescent girls.  She teaches in local marriage seminars, and lay-counselor workshops and hopes to teach at the college level soon.  Krysta is a new homeowner and lives with her husband of 5 years (Lucas)in Placer County. Gail Eve has been a licensed MFT since 1989. Prior to that she was an RN for 12 years and spent 5 years as an Air Force nurse. She has worked in substance abuse treatment, in- home programs, and with children/adults at River Oak Center for Children for 16 1/2 years. She started in private practice in 2003 in midtown, and is currently practicing at 2180 Harvard St, near Arden Way and Interstate 80 and Hwy 160, where she is in a group practice with 2 psychiatrists. She prefers working with all adults, especially those dealing with issues related to life transitions, self empowerment, and women's issues. She also works with children 12 yrs or older, and assists parents in effectively parenting adolescents.
